Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 14 AA near the carboxy terminal of human TANK (Genbank accession No. NP_004171)
Specificity Reacts with the C-terminus of human, mouse, and rat TANK. TANK was initially identified as a novel TRAF-interacting protein that regulated TRAF-mediated signal transduction (1,2). Specifically, ligand binding by surface receptors in the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor and Toll/interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor families lead to the formation of a TRAF/TANK complex that mediates the activation of the transcription factor NF-kappaB. At least 2 isoforms of TANK are known to exist.
Characteristics Rabbit anti TANK (CT), Rabbit antibody to TRAF family member-associated NF-kappaB activator (TANK), C-terminal
Purification Immuno Affinity Chromatography
Alternative Name TRAF family member-associated NF-kappaB activator (TANK)
Application Notes Suitable for use in Western blot (1-2 µg/mL). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
