Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 16 AA near the carboxy terminal of human TNFRSF14 (Genbank accession No. Q92956)
Specificity Reacts with human TNFRSF14. TNFRSF14 was initially identified as the Herpesvirus entry mediator (2) and upon binding to the herpes simplex virus (HSV) envelope glycoprotein D or either of its natural ligands LIGHT and lymphotoxin alpha (LT alpha), activates the transcription factors NF-kappaB and AP-1 (3,4). Activation of this signal transduction pathway in T cells stimulates T cell proliferation and cytokine production, leading to inflammation and enhanced CTL-mediated tumor immunity.
Characteristics Rabbit anti TNFRSF14 (CT), Rabbit antibody to Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily 14 (TNFRSF14), C-terminal
Purification Immuno Affinity Purified
Alternative Name Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily 14 (TNFRSF14)
Application Notes Suitable for use in Western blot (1-2 µg/mL). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
