Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-RTPMPKDVRQS, from the internal region (near the C terminus) of the protein sequence according to NP_001035982.1, NP_112194.2.
Blocking Peptide Blocking peptide for this product available: ABIN369835
Specificity This antibody is expected to recognise both reported isoforms (NP_001035982.1 and NP_112194.2).
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name DIAPH3 (DIAPH3 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: DIAPH3, diaphanous homolog 3 (Drosophila), RP11-26P21.1, DKFZP434C0931, DKFZp686A13178, DRF3, FLJ34705, diap3, diaphanous homolog 3, diaphanous-related formin 3
Gene ID 81624
NCBI Accession NP_112194, NP_001035982
Research Area Signaling, Cytoskeleton, Microfilaments
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 50 kDa band in human bone marrow, liver and lymph node lysates after 0.3 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 137 kDa according to NP_001035982.1 and 98.1 kDa according to NP_112194.2. The ~50 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
