Immunogen Synthetic peptide SGWKEEEVLQSRN, representing the C-Terminus of the human protein (residues 359-371), according to NP_00442
Isotype IgG
Purification affinity purified
Alternative Name ELF3 / ESE-1
Background ESE-1 (Epithelium-Specific Ets) is a novel, highly tissue-restricted member of the etstranscription factor/oncogene family, which has features distinct from those of any otherets-related factor. ESE-1 binds with high affinity to and transactivates the ets bindingsite in the promoter of the keratinocyte terminal differentiation marker gene, SPRR2A.ESE-1 is a critical regulator of epithelial cell differentiation. Alternate Names: anti-E74-like factor 3 (ets domain transcription factor epithelial-specific) antibody,anti-ELF3 antibody, anti-EPR-1 antibody, anti-ERT antibody, anti-ESE-1 antibody,anti-ESX antibody.
Gene Symbol: ELF3
Gene ID 1999
NCBI Accession NP_00442
Application Notes This antibody is useful for Western Blot - Approx 48-50kDa band seen in NCI-H460 lysate (predicted MW 42kDa).
Recommended dilutions: Peptide ELISA detection limit 1:32000, Western Blot 1:100-1:2000
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 0.5 mg/mL
Buffer Tris saline containing [pH 7.3] with 0.5 % BSA, Sodium Azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Storage -20 °C
Storage Comment -20 °C.
