Immunogen Synthetic Peptide KVQRVPLMTVLSF, representing the C-Terminus of the human protein (residues 616-628), according to NP_443102
Isotype IgG
Purification affinity purified
Alternative Name Sorting nexin-18 (SNX18)
Background This protein encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this familycontain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and areinvolved in intracellular trafficking. This protein does not contain a coiled coil region, likesome family members, but contains a SH3 domain. The specific function of this proteinhas not been determined. Alternate Names: anti-SNAG1 antibody, anti-Sorting nexin 18 antibody, anti-Sorting nexin associated golgiprotein 1 antibody.
Gene Symbol: SNX18
Gene ID 112574
NCBI Accession NP_443102
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000. Western Blot: No signal obtained yet but low background observed in U937, K562 and Human Testis lysates at upto 2ug/ml.
Recommended dilutions: Western Blot 1:1000, Peptide ELISA detection limit 1:32000
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 0.5 mg/mL
Buffer Tris saline containing [pH 7.3] with 0.5 % BSA, Sodium Azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Storage -20 °C
Storage Comment -20 °C.
