Alternative Name CD32 / FcRII-a (FCGR2A Antibody Abstract)
Background CD32 is a receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulinsgamma. This is a low affinity receptor. It is Involved in a variety of effector andregulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation ofantibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in downmodulation ofprevious state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells (BCR), T cells(TCR) or via another Fc receptor. Alternate Names: anti-FCGR2B antibody, anti-CD32 antibody, anti-FCG2 antibody, anti-FCGR2 antibody,anti-IGFR2 antibody, anti-Fc fragment of IgG antibody, anti-low affinity IIb antibody,anti-receptor for (CD32) antibody, anti-Fc gamma RIIb antibody, anti-Fc fragment of IgGantibody, anti-low affinity II antibody, anti-receptor for (CD32) antibody.
Gene Symbol: FCGR2B
Gene ID 2213

Application Notes In WB approx 34kDa band observed in Human myeloid erythroblast cell line K562 and Human monocytic cell line U937 lysates (calculated MW of 34.0kDa according to NP_003992.3,). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing CD32 a band of approx. 40kDa (glycoprotein) is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Liver shows membranous staining in endothelial cells between the hepatocytes. Similar results were obtained in Human Placenta.
Recommended dilutions: Immunohistochemistry 3-6 µg/mL, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 3.8 µg/mL, Peptide ELISA antibody detection limit 1:16000, Western Blot 0.3-1 µg/mL
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 0.5 mg/mL
Buffer Tris saline [pH 7.3] containing 0.5 % BSA, Sodium Azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Storage -20 °C
