Description SSEA1 (stage-specific mouse embryonic antigen) is a cell-surface protein involved incell differentiation. Cell surface antigens are powerful tools for characterizing thefunction and expression of developmentally regulated cells during both embryogenesisand oncogenesis.
Specificity Species Reactivity: This antibody recognizes SSEA1 in mouse EC & ES cells but not human, but isexpressed by some human differentiated cell types (ie: trophoblasts). Other specieshave not been tested.
