Additional Information

Alternative name Striatin / STRN
Gene ID 6801
Immunogen Synthetic peptide made to an internal portion of the human protein (within residues350-400). [Swiss-Prot# O43815].
Cross-Reactivity Human, Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus)
Format Serum
Description Striatin is found in all mammalian cells assayed and may be involved in vesiculartransport, dendrite growth, and cellular signaling. It binds Protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A) A and C subunits and calmodulin and appears to modulate PP2A activity. Italso binds the human homolog of the yeast protein, Mob1, which has been implicated inmitotic progression in yeast. It is a member of a family of proteins that also includesSG2NA and Zinedin. This antibody does not cross-react with SG2NA. Alternate Names: anti-STRN antibody.
Specificity This antibody does not cross-react with SG2NA. Species Reactivity: Human, mouse and rat. Localization: Cell Membrane and Cytoplasmic.
