Additional Information
| Alternative name | Striatin / STRN |
| Gene ID | 6801 |
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide made to an internal portion of the human protein (within residues350-400). [Swiss-Prot# O43815]. |
| Cross-Reactivity | Human, Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus) |
| Format | Serum |
| Description | Striatin is found in all mammalian cells assayed and may be involved in vesiculartransport, dendrite growth, and cellular signaling. It binds Protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A) A and C subunits and calmodulin and appears to modulate PP2A activity. Italso binds the human homolog of the yeast protein, Mob1, which has been implicated inmitotic progression in yeast. It is a member of a family of proteins that also includesSG2NA and Zinedin. This antibody does not cross-react with SG2NA. Alternate Names: anti-STRN antibody. |
| Specificity | This antibody does not cross-react with SG2NA. Species Reactivity: Human, mouse and rat. Localization: Cell Membrane and Cytoplasmic. |
