Isotype IgG2a
Characteristics Synonyms: Integrin alpha-M, CR3A, MAC-1, MAC1, CR-3 alpha chain, Cell surface glycoprotein MAC-1subunit alpha, Leukocyte adhesion receptor MO1, Neutrophil adherence receptor, CD11antigen-like family member B
Alternative Name CD11b
Background Mac-1), CD11b/CD18 complex is a leukocyte adhesion receptor to intercellular adhesionmolecules (ICAM's). CR3 alpha chain (M. W. 165,000) is on virtually all peripheral bloodneutrophils, eosinophils, monocytes and approximately 30% of peripheral bloodlymphocytes.
UniProt P11215
Research Area Stem Cells, Hematopoietic Progenitors, Hematopoietic Stem Cells, Glia marker, CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow Cytometry. Monitoring of subsets in peripheral blood. Characterization of leukemias and lymphomas. Analysis of CTL-mediated cytotoxicity. Studies of transplantation rejection. Functional studies of cell adhesion molecules. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Protocol PBMC: Add 10 ul of MAB/10e6 PBMC in 100 ul PBS. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at 2-8°C. Wash twice with PBS and analyze or fix with 0. 5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS andanalyze. WHOLE BLOOD: Add 10 ul of MAB/100 ul of whole blood. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at room temperature (20°C). Lyse the whole blood. Wash once with PBS and analyze or fix with 0. 5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS andanalyze. See instrument manufacturers instructions for Lysed Whole Blood andImmunofluorescence analysis with a flow cytometer or microscope.
