Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to a.a. 409-427 (LGERLAKQKIEDHLLSSGK, isoform 1) of human TRICK 2 precursor conjugated to KLH at the N-terminus
Specificity This antibody recognizes amino acids 409 - 427 of TRICK 2 isoform 1. The same sequence is found at amino acids 380-398 in isoform 2.
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography
Alternative Name CD262 / TRAILR2
Background DR5 contains an intracellular death domain. This receptor can be activated by tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis inducing ligand (TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO2L), and transduces apoptosis signal. Studies with FADD deficient mice suggested that FADD, a death domain containing adaptor protein, is required for the apoptosis mediated by this protein.
Alternate names: DR5, Death receptor 5, KILLER, TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor 2, TNFRSF10B, TRAIL receptor 2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10B, ZTNFR9
Gene ID 8795
NCBI Accession NP_003833.4
UniProt O14763
Research Area Signaling, Apoptosis/Necrosis
Application Notes Western blot: band of approximately 57 kDa is detected. Positive control: Whole cell lysatefrom HL60, HeLa or Jurkat cells. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
