Reacts with Interleukin-8 receptor A (IL-8RA), a G protein-linked seven transmembrane domain protein, expressed on monocytes and granulocytes. It is also expressed on a subset of T cells. Both IL-8RA and IL-8RB are high affinity receptors for IL-8. IL-8 is an inflammatory cytokine which induces chemotaxis of neutrophils, basophils and T lymphocytes. IL-8RA and IL-8RB were first clustered as CD128a and CD128b, respectively in the VIIth HLDA workshop, and then were re-clustered as CD181 and CD182, respectively in the VIIIth HLDA workshop. This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis. Other applications were tested during antibody development only or reported in the literature. Profile of peripheral blood granulocytes analyzed by flow cytometry. Second step staining with Cat. No. 555988.
