Immunogen A synthetic peptide (CTVYNSDVIDKQ) corresponding to the C-terminal of human ATG4C protein conjugated to Blue Carrier Protein has been used as the immunogen. The peptide is homologous with the corresponding sequence derived from ATG4C protein in mouse and rat.
Specificity Please see the accession, sequence differs from that shown due to a frameshift in position 420.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Other species not yet tested.
Purification Whole antisera
Alternative Name APG4C / ATG4C
Background ATG4C is a cysteine protease required for autophagy, which cleaves the C-terminal partof either MAP1LC3, GABARAPL2 or GABARAP, allowing the liberation of form I. Asubpopulation of form I is subsequently converted to a smaller form (form II). Form II,with a revealed C-terminal glycine, is considered to be the phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)-conjugated form, and has the capacity for the binding to autophagosomes. Alternate Names: anti-APG4 autophagy 4 homolog C antibody, anti-APG4 C antibody, anti-APG4Cantibody, anti-ATG 4C antibody, anti-ATG4 autophagy related 4 homolog C (S.cerevisiae) antibody, anti-AUT (S. cerevisiae) like 1, cysteine endopeptidase antibody,anti-AUT like 1, cysteine endopeptidase antibody, anti-AUT like 3 cysteineendopeptidase antibody, anti-AUTL1 antibody, anti-AUTL3 antibody, anti-Autophagin 3antibody, anti-Autophagy related cysteine endopeptidase 3 antibody, anti-Autophagyrelated protein 4 homolog C antibody, anti-Cysteine protease ATG4C antibody,anti-FLJ14867 antibody.
