Additional Information

Immunogen CEL-BSA
Format Affinity-purified
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone KNH-30
Description Reaction of protein amino groups with glucose leads, through the early products such as a Schiff base andAmadori rearrangement products, to the formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs). Recentimmunological studies using anti-AGEs antibody (6D12) demonstrated the presence of AGEs-modified proteinsin several human tissues: human lens (nondiabetic and noncataractous), renal proximal tubules inpatients with diabetic nephropathy and chronic renal failure, diabetic retina, peripheral nerves ofdiabetic neuropathy, atherosclerotic lesions of arterial walls, beta2-microglobulin forming amyloid fibrilsin patients with hemodialysis-related amyloidosis, senile plaques of patients with Alzheimer

Application Details

Application Notes Working dilution for immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml, for ELISA: 0.1-1.0ug/ml
Concentration 0.25 mg/ml
Purification The splenic lymphocytes from BALB/c mouse, immunized with CEL-BSA were fused tomyeloma P3U1 cells. The cell line (KNH-30) with positive reaction was grown in ascitic fluid ofBALB/c mouse, from which the antibody was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Buffer PBS (containing 2% Block Ace as a stabilizer, 0.1% Proclin as a bacteriostat)
