Description
|
The Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor GRM2 binds L-glutamate and has been linked to theinhibition of the cyclic AMP signaling cascade. GRM2 is involved in mediating thesuppression of neurotransmission and in synaptogenesis and synaptic stabilization. Glutamatergic neurotransmission plays a role in most aspects of normal brain function andcan be perturbed in many neuropathologic conditions.

Application Notes
|
Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections (4 µg/ml). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100°C for 20min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1xTBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
