Description
Phosphodiesterase 7B, a cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase, has been shown to affectcAMP-mediated neural activity and cAMP metabolism in the brain. PDE7B activity isinhibited by dipyridamole, IBMX, and SCH51866. At least three splice variants have beenisolated for PDE7B from rats and they show tissue specific expression patterns.
Specificity
This antibody detects Phosphodiesterase 7B (PDE7B) at internal domain. Species: Human, Mouse, Rat. Others not tested.
Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections (1.25 - 2.5 ug/ml). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100C for 20min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1xTBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
