Additional Information
| Alternative name | CD20 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptides from the c-terminus of human CD 20 protein |
| Format | Supernatant |
| Isotype | IgG (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | BV11 |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with CD20, which is a 33kDa leukocyte surface antigen consisting of four transmembrane regions and cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. CD20 is expressed primarily on B cells but has also been detected on both normal and neoplastic T cells. Activation of CD20 significantly increases DNA synthesis and is thought to involve basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factors. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:15-1:30 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Positive Control: Tonsil |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant and diluted in buffer pH 7.5, containing BSA and sodium azide as a preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | CD Antigens |
