Description CD349 is a member of the Frizzled family, known as Frizzled-9 (Fz9, FZD9, hFz9, or FzE6) which was originallydescribed as FZD3. Ten frizzled member have been identified in humans. FZD9 is a seven transmembraneG-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), a receptor for Wnt proteins. It is involved in the activation of Wnt/beta-cateninpathway (canonic Wnt signaling). FZD9 is predominately expressed in fetal and adult brain, testis, eye, skeletalmuscle and kidney and is also expressed on Mesenchymal stem cells, and neural precursor cells. Frizzled proteinsplay important roles in controlling cell fate, proliferation, migration, tissue architecture and organogenesis duringembryonic development and in adult organisms. FZD9 is an important factor for nervous system development and iscritical for hippocampal development.

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 ul per million cells or 5 ul per 100 ul of wholeblood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.* Alexa Fluor
Purification The antibody was conjugated with Alexa Fluor 647 under optimalconditions, and is at >85% purity. The solution is free of unconjugated AlexaFluor 647.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and0.2% (w/v) BSA (origin USA).
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
