Additional Information

Alternative name CD47
Isotype IgG2a, kappa chain
Clone Miap301
Description CD47, also known as Integrin-Associated Protein (IAP) ,is a membrane protein of about 50 kd with an IgV-likeextracelluluar domain, a five membrane-spanning segment and a short terminal cytoplasmic region. It is widelyexpressed on many cell types and often associated with beta 3 integrins. The significance of this molecules isrecently drawing increasing attention. It has been reported that CD47 functions as a self marker. Red cells lackingCD47 were rapidly cleared from the bloodstream by splenic macrophages. By binding to SIRPalpha, CD47controlshemostatic innate immune functions, such as phagocytosis and cell trafficking

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.25 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.* Alexa Fluor
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withAlexa Fluor 647 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor 647.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
