Description
The Notch receptors are highly conserved from invertebrates to mammals. Notch 4 is one of the 4 Notchhomologues. Notch receptors are activated after binding to its ligands. The binding results in the proteolysis of Notchand movement of intracellular portion of Notch into the nucleus. This translocation triggers a series of signalingprocess. Notch 4 is an endothelial cell specific homologue of Notch and it may play a crucial role in vasculogenesisand angiogenesis.

Application Notes
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 1.0 ug/test. It is recommended that thereagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
