Description: CD64 is a 72 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as FcgammaRI and FcR I. CD64 is a member of theimmunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and activatedgranulocytes. The expression can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation. CD64 binds IgG immune complex. It plays arole in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).

Application Details

Application Notes: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 20 ul per million cells or 20 ul per 100 ul of wholeblood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: blocking5,6 of immunoglobulin binding to FcgammaRI, andimmunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen tissue sections.

Purification: The antibody was conjugated with APC under optimal conditions, and is at>85% purity. The solution is free of unconjugated APC and unconjugatedantibody.

Buffer: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and0.2% (w/v) BSA (origin USA).

Storage: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
