Additional Information

Isotype IgG2a kappa
Clone 7E9
Description CD21, also known as CR2 (complement receptor 2), C3d receptor, binds C3d and iC3b. It is also a receptor ofEpstein-Barr virus. CD35, also known as CR1, binds C3b, iC3b, C4b and iC4. CD21/CD35 is primarily expressed onB lymphocytes, mast cells, follicular dendritic cells, macrophages, and activated granulocytes. CD21/CD35 forms partof the B-cell antigen receptor complex with CD19 and CD81 and is involved in signal transduction.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.25 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for eachapplication.
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withAPC under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated APC andunconjugated antibody.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Restrictions For Research Use only
