Additional Information

Alternative name CD281 (TLR1)
Immunogen Human TLR1 transfected Ba/F3
Isotype IgG1, kappa chain
Clone TLR1-136
Description Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are type I transmembrane signaling receptors characterized by containing leucine-richrepeats (LRR) extracellular domain and IL-1 receptor like intracellular domain. TLRs are responsible for recognizingpathogen-associated molecule patterns (PAMPs). They are primary sensors of both innate and adaptive immunesystems. To date a total of 12 TLRs have been indentified. Toll-like receptor 1 (TLR1), known as CD281, is expressedon monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and granulocytes and some lymphocytes at low levels. By associationwith TLR2, TLR1 is a coreceptor involved in the response to diverse set of pathogens, such as triacylatedlipopeptidess (but not diacylated lipopeptides), peptidoglycans, lipoteichoic acid.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 2.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for eachapplication. Other reported applications include immunoprecipitation1
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotinand unconjugated antibody.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze.
Restrictions For Research Use only
