| Immunogen | PWM-stimulated human PBL |
| Isotype | IgG1, kappa chain |
| Clone | BM-1 |
| Description | BM-1 antigen is a 183 kD myeloid-specific-DNA-binding protein which is expressed in myeloid cells, including myeloidprecursors and mature granulocytes. It is also expressed in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and M2 and M3 acutemyeloid leukemias (AML) as well as myelomonocytic leukemias, but not in T, B, NK and other non-hematopoieticcells. The biological function of this antigen is not clear, although it has been proposed that BM-1 may play a role inthe differentiation of myeloid cells. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 1.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application. Additional reported (for the relevant formats) applications include: immunohistochemical staining of frozen andparaffin sections1, and immunoprecipitation1. |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. |
