| Description | The Vdelta2 TCR is a variant of the TCR delta chain expressed on a subset of gamma/delta T cells. Vgamma9Vdelta2 T lymphocytes, a major gamma/deltaT cell subset in humans, recognize phosphoantigens, certain tumor cells, and cells treated withaminobisphosphonates. This cell population displays cytolytic activity against various tumor cells. The gamma/delta TCR is anheterodimeric TCR complex composed of covalently bound gamma and delta chains involved in antigen recognition and thenon-covalently associated monomorphic proteins CD3delta, gamma, epsilon, and zeta chains. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.5 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application. 1. Rojas, RE., et al. 2005. J. Infectious Diseases. 192: 1806 |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. |
