Additional Information

Alternative name CXCR7
Immunogen human CXCR7 transfectant
Isotype IgG2b, kappa chain
Clone 8F11-M16
Description CXCR7, also known as RDC1, belongs to a subgroup of C-X-C chemokine receptors, which are part of a large proteinfamily of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR). CXCR7 binds with high-affinity to CXCL12/SDF-1 and CXCL11/I-TAC,which regulates the trafficking and activation of leukocytes. It is also a co-receptor for the entry of HIV-1. Binding ofligand to CXCR7 induces proliferation and migration of immature neurons, glia and their precursors. CXCR7expression occurs on a wide variety of tissues and cells including monocytes, B cells, T cells and mature dendriticcells. Surface expression of CXCR7 was also reported to be on tumor cells, activated endothelial cells, fetal livercells, and few other cell types.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 2.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application.
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze.
Restrictions For Research Use only
