| Description | CD34 is thought to function as an adhesion molecule for early hematopoietic progenitors mediating the attachment ofstem cells to extracellular matrix or stromal mucosialin. It is selectively expressed on majority of hematopoieticstem/progenitor cells, bone marrow stromal cells, capillary endothelial cells, and embryonic fibroblasts. CD34+hematopoietic progenitors may be mobilized to the peripheral blood by treatment with recombinant canine granulocytecolony-stimulating factor and stem-cell factor. Furthermore, CD34 is expressed on some canine leukemias. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is approx. 1.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. Thesolution is free of unconjugated biotin and unconjugated antibody. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
