Description
FcRL5, also know as CD307, IRTA2, FcRH5 and BXMAS1, is a 106kDa type I transmembrane glycoproteincomposed of 6-8 extracellular Ig like C2 domains and 2 cytoplasmic ITIM motifs. The FcRL5 gene is located onchromosome 1q21 and is normally expressed by tonsillar plasma cells and germinal center B cells. It has beensuggested FcRL5 contributes to B cell maturation and B cell receptor modulation. The identification of FcRL5 on anumber of transformed cell types including hairy cell leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic lymphomaand Burkitt&rsquo,s lymphoma has prompted interest in it as a potential biomarker or target for immunotherapy.

Application Notes
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 20 ul per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or 100 ul ofwhole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Additional reported applications include immunoprecipitation
