Additional Information

Immunogen Activated C57BL/6 mouse spleen cells
Isotype IgG2b, kappa chain
Clone M5-114-15-2
Description The M5/114.15.2 antibody reacts with a polymorphic determinant shared by the I-Ab, I-Ad, I-Aq, I-Ed, and I-Ek MHCclass II alloantigens. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and asubset of T cells from H-2b,d,q,r bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCRand CD4 proteins. The M5/114.15.2 antibody cross-reacts with the H-2p,r haplotypes. The M5/114.15.2 antibody hasbeen reported to block antigen presentation.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.25 ug per 106cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.* PerCP has a maximum absorption of 482 nm and 564 nm and a maximum emission of 675 nm. Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunoprecipitation1, intracellularimmunofluorescent staining2, immunohistochemistry2,3,6 of frozen sections, and in vitro and in vivo blocking4-7 ofantigen presentation or ligand binding. The LEAF
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withPerCP under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PerCPand unconjugated antibody.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
