Description CD24 is a 35-45 kD protein, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA), Ly-52, or Nectadrin. It is a GPI-linkedsialoglycoprotein expressed on lymphocytes, granulocytes, epithelial cells, thymocytes, monocytes, erythrocytes, anddendritic cells. CD24 expression varies during T and B cell differentiation and is a useful marker for delineatingvarious lymphocyte developmental stages. CD24 serves as an adhesion or costimulatory molecule involved in T andB lymphocyte activation and differentiation by homophilic binding or binding to CD62P.

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.25 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. * PerCP/Cy5.5 has a maximum absorption of 482 nm and 564 nm and a maximun emission of 690 nm. Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: Western blotting1, in vitro induction of thymocytematuration2, complement-mediated cytotoxicity3, and immunohistochemistry of acetone-fixed frozen sections,zinc-fixed paraffin-embedded sections and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with PerCP/Cy5.5 under optimal conditions.The solution is free of unconjugated PerCP/Cy5.5 and unconjugated antibody.

Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do notfreeze.
