Description: ABIN-3, also known as LIND, was originally identified as a gene induced in monocytes upon infection by Listeriamonocytogenes. ABIN-3 is induced upon stimulation by IL-10. Expression of human ABIN-3 in cells inhibitedNF-kappa-B activation and proinflammatory gene expression in response to TNF, IL-1, and TLR ligands. In mice,ABIN-3 lacks the AHD2 domain, which explains its inability to inhibit NF-kappa-B in mice.
