Additional Information

Alternative name Bcl-3
Immunogen Full length mouse Bcl-3 protein
Format Purified
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone Ham150-3-5
Description Bcl-3 is a 46 kD proto-oncogene candidate that is identified by its translocation into the immunoglobulin alpha-locus insome cases of B-cell leukemia. Due to its seven ankyrin repeats, it is closely related to I kappa B proteins. Thisprotein functions as a transcriptional co-activator that activates through its association with NF-kappa B homodimers. The expression of this gene can be induced by NF-kappa B, which forms a part of the autoregulatory loop thatcontrols the nuclear residence of p50 NF-kappa B. The Ham150-5.3 clone has shown to be useful for westernblotting.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, suggested workingdilution(s): Use 5 ug per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent be titratedfor optimal performance for each application.
Purification This antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C.
Restrictions For Research Use only
