Additional Information

Alternative name Cbl
Immunogen peptide mapping to the carboxy terminal domain of human Cbl
Format Purified
Clone Poly6330
Description The proto-oncogene c-Cbl was initially identified as the cellular homologue of v-Cbl oncogene that induces pre-B celllymphomas and myeloid leukemias in mice. The Cbl family comprises three mammalian proteins, c-Cbl, Cbl-b, andCbl-3, among these, c-Cbl and Cbl-b are expressed in hemopoietic cells, whereas Cbl-3 is expressed only in epithelialtissues. Cbl proteins can function as E3 ubiquitin (Ub) ligases, and in more recent studies Cbl has been implicated inthe negative regulation of various RTKs. The poly6330 antibody has been shown to be useful for western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry of human, mouse, and rat Cbl protein.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting suggested working dilution(s): Use 25 ul per 5 ml antibodydilution buffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent betitrated for optimal performance for each application.
Purification This antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Buffer This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% gelatin.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. DO NOT FREEZE.
