Description
|
The eukaryotic translation initiation factor-3 (eIF3) is a 700 kD complex comprised of at least 12 subunits, includingeIF3K, which is essential for translation. eIF3 directly binds to the 40S ribosomal subunit and promotes the formationof the 40S preinitiation complex by promoting the binding of methionyl-tRNA and mRNA. Poly6377 is useful forwestern blot applications.
