Additional Information

Alternative name eIF3K
Immunogen Full-length human eIF3K recombinant protein
Format Purified
Clone Poly6380
Description The eukaryotic translation initiation factor-3 (eIF3) is a 700 kD complex comprised of at least 12 subunits, includingeIF3K, which is essential for translation. eIF3 directly binds to the 40S ribosomal subunit and promotes the formationof the 40S preinitiation complex by promoting the binding of methionyl-tRNA and mRNA. Poly6377 is useful forwestern blot applications.

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting, suggested working dilution(s):Use 10 ul per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimalperformance for each application.
Purification The antibody was purified by antigen-affinity chromatography.
Buffer This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage Upon receipt, store frozen at -20 degrees C.
