Additional Information
| Alternative name | JNK1 |
| Immunogen | Peptide mapping to the carboxy terminus of human JNK1 |
| Format | Purified |
| Clone | Poly6331 |
| Description | The MAPK family includes several subgroups encompassing the extracellularsignal-regulated kinase (ERK) family, the p38 Map kinase family, and c-JunNH2-terminal kinase (JNK) family. JNK kinase group includes 3 members,JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3. JNK kinases are phosphorylated in response tovarious activations by environmental stress and pro-inflammatory cytokinesby phosphorylating a number of transcription factors, primarily components ofAP-1 such as c-Jun and ATF2 and thus regulate AP-1 transcriptional activity.JNK kinases are characterized by requirement for dual phosphorylation at aT-P-Y motif for enzymatic activation. The Poly6331 antibody has been shownto be useful for western blotting, immunoprecipitation, andimmunohistochemistry of human, mouse, and rat JNK1 p46 and JNK3 p54protein. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting suggested working dilution(s): Use 25 ul per 5 ml antibodydilution buffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent betitrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Purification | This antibody was purified by affinity chromatography. |
| Buffer | This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% gelatin. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. DO NOT FREEZE. |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
