Immunogen A 16 amino acid peptide from near the centre of Human TEM7.
Isotype IgG
Specificity This antibody recognises Human Tumour endothelial marker 7 (TEM7), a 55.8 kDa protein belonging to the plexin family.
Purification Affinity Chromatography
Alternative Name PLXDC1 / TEM7
Background TEM7 is strongly expressed in endothelial cells from colorectal cancer and from primary cancers of the lung, liver, brain, breast and pancreas. High expression of TEM7 is associated with metastasis and poor survival of patients with osteogenic sarcoma. Studies have indicated the existence of least four isoforms of TEM7 which include membrane bound, secreted and intracellular forms. TEM7 is not detectable in endothelial cells from normal tissues.
Alternate names: Plexin domain-containing protein 1, TEM3, Tumor endothelial marker 3, Tumor endothelial marker 7
Gene ID 57125
NCBI Accession NP_065138.2
UniProt Q8IUK5
Application Notes Western Blot: 0.5 - 1.0g/ml, detects a band of approximately 56kDa in rat liver tissuelysate. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
