Immunogen A peptide corresponding to amino acids near the Carboxy terminus of human DNase II precursor.
Isotype IgG
Specificity This antibody recognises DNase II (Deoxyribonuclease II), an enzyme involved in both the condensation of chromatin and the fragmentation of DNA. DNase II is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
Purification Purified
Alternative Name Deoxyribonuclease-2-alpha (DNASE2 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: Acid DNase, DNASE2, DNASE2A, DNL2, Deoxyribonuclease II alpha, Lysosomal DNase II
Gene ID 1777
NCBI Accession NP_001366
UniProt O00115
Application Notes Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 5g/mL. Western Blot: 0.5 - 1.0g/mL, detects a band of approximately 40 kDa in human tissuespleen cell lysates.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
