Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))
Specificity
This antibody recognises a glycoprotein designated TGN38 that is found primarily in the Trans-Golgi network, and has been found to be an excellent marker for this cellular organelle. TGN38 is likely to have a role in intracellular transport. It is the homologue of human TGN46.
Purification

Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections: 0.1g/mL - 1g/mL, Fixation with methanol ormethanol/acetone recommended. Western Blot: 0.1g/mL - 1g/mL. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
