Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human HDAC4/HDAC5/HDAC9 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 246/259/220 (T-A-SP-EP).
Specificity HDAC4/HDAC5/HDAC9 (Phospho-Ser246/259/220) Antibody detects endogenous levels of HDAC4/HDAC5/HDAC9 only when phosphorylated at Serine 246/259/220.
Purification Immunoaffinity Chromatography: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Application Notes Western Blot (1/500-1/1000). Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/100). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
