Immunogen Fusion protein consisting of the extracellular region of Bovine CD335. Remarks: Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the NS-0 myeloma cell line.
Clone AKS1
Isotype IgG1
Specificity This Low Endotoxin antibody is specific for Bovine CD335, also known as NKp46 and Natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1. Clone AKS1 is reported to activate lysis of FcgammaR-expressing cell line P815, by IL-2 activated NKp46+ cells (2).
Purification Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant
Endotoxin Level Low Endotoxin
Alternative Name CD335 / NKp46 (NCR1 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD335 is a type I transmembrane protein, with two extracellular C2-type immunoglobulin-like domains, which functions as an activating receptor. CD335 is expressed by human natural killer cells (4). The bovine homologue is expressed on bovine NK cells (2) and no expression of CD335 has been detected on B cells, T cells, monocytes or granulocytes.Synonyms: LY94, NCR1, NK cell-activating receptor, NKp46, Natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor, Natural killer cell p46-related protei
Gene ID 369024
NCBI Accession NP_899209
UniProt Q863H2
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Pathways Regulation of Leukocyte Mediated Immunity
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of 1/5-1/200 diluted antibody to label 106 cells in 100 μL. Western Blot. Functional Assays.
