Immunogen Peptide with sequence AGDPASLDFAQC, from the N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_001073899.1.
Blocking Peptide Blocking peptide for this product available: ABIN368745
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name TOX3 (TOX3 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: TOX3, TOX high mobility group box family member 3, CAGF9, TNRC9, trinucleotide repeat containing 9
Gene ID 27324, 244579, 291908
NCBI Accession NP_001073899
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Chromatin Binding Proteins
Pathways Chromatin Binding
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 100 kDa band in Human Brain (Cerebellum) lysates after 0.2 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 64.7 kDa according to NP_001073899.1 The 100 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
