Additional Information

Alternative name Cyclin D1
Immunogen Recombinant human cyclin D1 protein. Purification Purified by the goat anti-mouse IgG affinity chromatography.
Format Affinity-purified
Isotype IgG2a
Clone CY-D1
Description D-type cyclins (cyclins D1, D2, and D3) are regarded as essential links between cell environment and the core cell cycle machinery. CyclinD1(CCND1) also knows as BCL1. Expression of cyclin D1, but not of cyclins A and E, was induced by transfection of the RB gene into RB-deficient tumor cells. CCND1 gene to 11q13. cyclin D1 gene can function as an oncogene. Cyclin D1 expression is regulated by the retinoblastoma protein.
Specificity Human, mouse, rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Application Details

Application Notes Western blotting: At 4 µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect cyclin D1 in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 8 µg/ml to detect cyclin D1 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 8 µg/ml to detect cyclin D1 in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Immunocytochemistry Suitable Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.
Buffer Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.
Storage At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
Research Area Cancer, Cell Cycle
Restrictions For Research Use only
