Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the 4th cytoplasmic loop of human Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor member F (MRGPRF) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous with the corresponding sequence in rat and mouse.

Description
FUNCTION: Orphan receptor. May bind to a neuropeptide and may regulate nociceptor function and/or development, including the sensation or modulation of pain. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Gut, vas deferens, uterus and aorta; barely detectable in liver, kidney, lung, and salivary gland. In the brain, markedly abundant in the cerebellum. Also known as: Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor, member F, Mas-related gene F protein, G-protein coupled receptor RTA, Mrgf, Rta, GPR140, GPR168, MGC21621, G-protein coupled receptor 140, G-protein coupled receptor 168.

Specificity
Appears to be specific for MRGPRF.
Application Notes
IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
