Additional Information

Alternative name Synaptoporin (SYNPR) (cytoplasmic domain)
Swiss-Prot Q8TBG9
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from a cytoplasmic domain of human, rat Synaptoporin (SYNPR) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Intrinsic membrane protein of small synaptic vesicles. Probable vesicular channel protein. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle, synaptic vesicle membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction, synapse, synaptosome. Also known as: SYNPR.
Specificity Appears to be specific for Synaptoporin.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
