Background ATG5 is an important element forautophagy and may also play an important role in the apoptotic process. Following conjugation to ATG12, the conjugate participates in the formation of autophagosome. While the mRNA is ubiquitously transcribed its expression is highly upregulated in apoptotic cells. Also known as: APG5-like, ATG5, ASP, APG5, APG5L, hAPG5, apoptosis-specific protein.
Application Notes Use at a dilution of 1:300 to 1: 2000.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.

Reconstitution Reconstitute in 150 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
