|Description||FUNCTION: Necessary for signaling by class 3 semaphorins and subsequent remodeling of the cytoskeleton. Plays a role in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse and cell migration. SUBUNIT: Homotetramer, and heterotetramer with CRMP1, DPYSL3, DPYSL4 or DPYSL5. Interacts through its C-terminus with the C-terminus of CYFIP1/SRA1. Interacts with HTR4. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Ubiquitous. Also known as: Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 2, DRP-2, Collapsin response mediator protein 2, N2A3, DPYSL2, CRMP2.|

|Application Notes||IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. This antibody recognises mainly phospho T514S518 of CRMP-2 (but also it is quite likely to recognise the unphosphorylated form).|
|Storage||Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.|
