Additional Information

Alternative name Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) (c-terminal)
Swiss-Prot P24530
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of human Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Non-specific receptor for endothelin 1, 2, and 3. Mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: Expressed in placental stem villi vessels, but not in cultured placental villi smooth muscle cells. Also known as: Endothelin receptor non-selective type, EDNRB, ETRB.
Specificity Appears to be specific for EDNRB.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
