Immunogen A synthetic peptide from AA 2-50 of human GNB3 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
Specificity Specific for Olfactory receptor OR4A5.
Purification whole serum
Alternative Name GNB3
Background Function: Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as a modulator or transducer in varioustransmembrane signaling systems. The beta and gamma chains are required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein-effector interaction.
Subunit: G proteins are composed of 3 units, alpha, beta and gamma. Also known as: Transducin beta chain 3, GNB3, Guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit beta-3.
UniProt Q8NH83
Research Area Neurology
Application Notes A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage -20 °C
Storage Comment Maintain the reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20 °C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8 °C for a shorter term.
