Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the VHS domain of human GGA3 (Golgi-localized, gamma ear-containing, ARF-binding protein 3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat, mouse, chicken.
Specificity Appears to be specific for GGA3.
Purity whole serum
Alternative Name GGA3 (Golgi-localized, gamma ear-containing, ARF-binding protein 3)
Background Function: Plays a role in protein sorting and trafficking between the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes. Mediates the ARF-dependent recruitment of clathrin to the TGN and binds ubiquitinated proteins and membrane cargo molecules with a cytosolic acidic cluster-dileucine (AC-LL) motif.
Subcellular location: Golgi apparatus, trans-Golgi network membrane, Peripheral membrane protein. Endosome membrane, Peripheral membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Ubiquitously expressed. Also known as: ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA3, Golgi-localized, gamma ear-containing, ARF-binding protein 3, Gamma-adaptin-related protein 3.
UniProt Q8BMI3
Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Storage -20 °C
