Immunogen A synthetic peptide as a part of Drosophila melanogaster gustatory receptor trehalose 1 (Trehalose receptor 1, Tre1) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Specificity Appears to be specific for Tre1.

Background Function: Taste receptor sensitive to trehalose.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein
Tissue specificity: Expressed ubiquitously in adult tissues. Highest expression levels are seen in taste sensory cells of the labellar chemosensory neurons and tarsi.
Developmental stage: Expressed throughout embryo to adult stages. Also known as: Trehalose receptor 1, Tre1.
