Additional Information

Alternative name LATS2
UniProt Q7TSJ6
Immunogen A synthetic peptide to the n-terminal of mouse LATS2 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Tumor suppressor which plays a critical role in centrosome duplication, maintenance of mitotic fidelity and genomic stability. Negatively regulates G1/S transition by down-regulating cyclin E/CDK2 kinase activity. Negative regulator of the androgen receptor. Subcellular location: Centrosome. Cytoplasm. Note: Co-localizes with STK6 at the centrosomes during interphase, early prophase and cytokinesis. Migrates to the spindle poles during mitosis, and to the midbody during cytokinesis. Tissue specificity: Expressed at high levels in ovary and testis and at lower levels in all other tissues examined. Also known as: Serine/threonine-protein kinase LATS2, Large tumor suppressor homolog 2, Serine/threonine-protein kinase kpm, Kinase phosphorylated during mitosis protein.
Specificity Appears to be specific for LATS2.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
